Graduated from Ole Miss in 2013 with a BA in Secondary Math Education, Art (emphasis in Graphic Design), and a minor in Japanese.
I served in a public school in Hattiesburg for 2 ½ years teaching Algebra 2 and Algebra 1.
I have worked for the same special needs school for the past six years. It started out as The Institute for Diverse Education (TIDE School), then in 2018 ownership was transferred to the New Learning Resources group and the name changed to South New Summit. Ownership was transferred once more in February or 2021 and the name changed to Innova Preparatory School. Despite the changes we have had these past few years, our mission/vision has been the same, which is to service students with learning disabilities who are at or above normal intelligence. In recent years due to our growth in students, we have been able to open our doors to others without a specific learning difference.
I began my masters degree in Dyslexia Therapy in 2018 and am currently working on completing therapy hours (600/820).
